A roster prompt, not a rules referee
Nuzlocke rules change between players and games. This page focuses on one useful job: producing a constrained random roster, excluding names already caught, and keeping fainted members visually separate from the active team.
The game selector sets an introduction-era ceiling, not a complete version Pokédex. You still decide how individual routes, first encounters, duplicate clauses, gift Pokémon, level caps, and wipes work in your run.
Replace without repeating the active team
Mark a member fainted when it leaves the run. The replacement draw excludes every species still shown on the roster and every recognized name in the caught list, which prevents an immediate duplicate.
Nothing is saved to a server. Refreshing or closing the page clears the roster, so keep your permanent run notes in your usual tracker.

Does this enforce every Nuzlocke rule?
No. It creates and tracks a challenge roster. Encounter order, route eligibility, nicknames, level caps, and game-specific clauses remain with the player.
What happens when I mark a Pokemon fainted?
The card is marked as fainted and can be replaced with a new species that is not already on the active roster.
How does the game version selector work?
It limits the roster to species introduced by that game's generation, from Red and Blue through Sword and Shield. It does not claim that every eligible species is catchable in that version or on a particular route.
Can I exclude Pokemon I already caught?
Yes. Enter names separated by commas or new lines. Recognized species are removed from both the initial six-member draw and later replacement draws; unrecognized names are shown so you can correct them.
Is my Nuzlocke roster saved?
No. The launch version keeps the roster only in the current browser page and does not create an account or store progress.
