One spin, one clear result
The wheel serves a different search and play need than the six-member team generator. It is useful for starter prompts, drawing a mascot, choosing a sketch subject, or settling a friendly challenge.
Choose All Pokémon for the full National Pokédex pool or Legendary Only for the five classified special groups. Generation and type filters apply first; a searchable custom pool can then keep only the species you choose before one eligible ID is loaded from PokeAPI.
Use filters without shrinking to zero
Most type and generation combinations contain several choices, but a very narrow pool can be empty. When that happens, the wheel asks you to change a filter instead of silently falling back to an unrelated Pokémon.
Spins are independent by default. Turn on Remove selected after spin for a no-repeat draw: each winner leaves the active pool, the next spin uses only the remaining candidates, and Restore removed starts that sequence over.

Does the wheel pick a team or one Pokemon?
It picks one Pokémon per spin. Use the main team generator when you need six species at once.
Can I spin within one generation?
Yes. Choose Gen 1 through Gen 9 before spinning, or leave the selector on all generations.
Can I spin for a specific type?
Yes. The type selector narrows the eligible ID pool before the final random pick.
Can I spin only Legendary and Mythical Pokémon?
Yes. Choose Legendary Only to use the same five classified special groups as the dedicated Legendary generator, then narrow that pool further by generation, type, or custom selections.
Can I make my own Pokemon wheel?
Yes. Search the filtered Pokémon list and check any species you want in a custom candidate pool. Enable Remove selected after spin to take each winner out before the next spin, or restore removed picks at any time.
Is each spin stored?
No. The result, custom pool, and removed list stay only in the current browser page. A refresh resets them, and the next result replaces the previous result card.
